A little bit about who I am, what I study, and how I spend my time.

Background

I grew up in Portland, Oregon — surrounded by rain, bookshops, and way too many artisan coffee roasters, which probably explains a lot. I'm currently a junior at the University of Chicago studying Information Science and Literature.

My academic interests sit at the intersection of technology and storytelling. I'm fascinated by how the tools we build shape the stories we tell — and vice versa.

Outside of class, I write for the campus tech publication, volunteer at the local public library's digital literacy program, and spend too much time optimizing my note-taking system.
